The branched-chain amino acids (BCAAS) belong to a series of the eight essential amino acids. The BCAAS have beneficial effects on the athlete who wants to develop his muscle mass because:

> they are capable of increasing the synthesis of muscle protein.

> they can also reduce the accumulation of ammonia in the body during special stress situations, and thereby neutralise premature fatigue.

The BCAAS, besides favouring muscle development, are also essential for protein metabolism in general.

It should not be forgotten that the energy of the proteins is obtained, basically, from the branched-chain amino acids.

One tablet of BCAAS COMPETITION provides:

> L-isoleucine (150 mg): an essential amino acid that along with the L-leucine and the growth hormone intervenes in the formation and repair of muscle tissue.

> L-leucine (300 mg): an essential amino acid of very energetic characteristics in the area of the muscle. It has a very high availability.

> L-valine (150 mg): an essential amino acid that stimulates the growth and repair of the tissues, the maintenance of different systems and the balance of nitrogen.

> Vitamin B6 (0.23 mg, 17% RDA): Vitamin B6 or pyridoxine participates in the metabolism of the proteins.

INGREDIENTS: stabiliser (microcrystalline cellulose), corn starch, L-leucine, L-isoleucine, L-valine, anti-caking agent (silicon dioxide), vitamin B6.

RECOMMENDED CONSUMPTION: 6 tablets daily for an adult weighing 75 Kg.

BOTTLE: 300 tablets.
